Committing items

To commit an item, click on Commit from Sandbox on the Edit Action menu*, or click the Commit item to library icon:

• If you have any validation errors, you must fix them before you will be able to commit the item.
• When you commit an item, verify that is has the status Inactive (the default).

* Use this same method to commit and validate the XML of item edits you make using the Enhanced Simple Editor.
